Do you ever feel stressed or have anxiety from your graduate program? Do you find yourself needing to talk to someone about what you are ​going through? Then the Hosford Counseling and Psychological Services clinic may be a great option for you! Located in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education building on the UCSB campus, the Hosford Clinic is open to both graduate students and postdocs and offers $15 sessions as well as very reasonable sliding-scale fees for community members (e.g. partners and dependents).

The clinic is part of the Department of Counseling, Clinical, & School Psychology (CCSP) at UCSB and provides individual, child, family, and couples therapy for people of all ages. The clinicians are Ph.D. students who are supervised by licensed faculty members.

They can help with:

  • Relationship problems
  • Couple and family conflicts
  • Child behavior problems and parenting difficulties
  • School adjustment
  • Depression, anxiety, and stress
  • Trauma and grief
  • Identity issues
  • Other mental health concerns
