Dr. Emin Gün Sirer will be discussing the future of Bitcoin and electronic money on May 18 through the SAGE Center.
UCSB's SAGE Center for the Study of the Mind is hosting guest lecturer Emin Gün Sirer on May 18 at 4 p.m. His lecture, "Bitcoin and the Promise, the Limits, and the Future of Electronic Money" will be held in 1312 Psychology. Dr. Sirer is a hacker, an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Cornell University, and a self-proclaimed "Bitcoin fan."
