Dr. Emin Gün Sirer will be discussing the future of Bitcoin and electronic money on May 18 through the SAGE Center.

Credit: SAGE CenterUCSB's SAGE Center for the Study of the Mind is hosting guest lecturer Emin Gün Sirer on May 18 at 4 p.m. His lecture, "Bitcoin and the Promise, the Limits, and the Future of Electronic Money" will be held in 1312 Psychology. Dr. Sirer is a hacker, an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Cornell University, and a self-proclaimed "Bitcoin fan."
