Preliminary Rounds

Semifinal Rounds

The semifinal rounds will be held in the Student Resource Building Multipurpose Room on the following days and times (the presenter lineup will be determined  upon conclusion of the preliminary rounds):

Monday, April 15, 11am-12pm
Tuesday, April 16 , 3-4pm
Wednesday, April 17, 11am-12pm

Final Round

Friday, April 19, 3-4pm
Corwin Pavilion



P​RIZES

Each year, we award over $15,000 in cash and prizes!

Prize Levels:

​Grand Prize – $5,000

Final Round Runners-Up –  $2,500 each (2 prizes total)

​All Other Final Round Presenters – $750 each (6 prizes total)

A​ll Semifinalists – $50 each (​30 ​gift card prizes total)

What is Grad Slam? Four of our past competitors – Nicole Leung (UCSB Champion, 2016), James Allen (UCSB Champion, 2014), Phillip Rogers (Runner-Up, 2016), and David Hwang (Finalist, 2016) – catch you up to speed. All in less than 3 minutes, of course.
