St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is currently seeking nominations of students to be considered for either their 16th Annual National Graduate Student Symposium (NGSS) or 3rd Annual Future Fellow Research Conference (FFRC). The nomination deadline is October 31, 2016.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is currently seeking nominations of students to be considered for either their 16th Annual National Graduate Student Symposium (NGSS) or 3rd Annual Future Fellow Research Conference (FFRC). These exceptional academic and professional development opportunities for Ph.D.-level students will be held respectively on March 20-24 and June 6-8, 2017, at the St. Jude campus in Memphis, TN.

The NGSS and FFRC are all-expenses-paid symposia to which top Ph.D.-level graduate students from around the country are invited to participate. To be eligible, students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and their estimated graduation date must be between May 2017 and July 2018.

Eligibility via nomination: Preference will be given to students whose work is relevant to the ongoing research at St. Jude. Nomination of exceptional under-represented minority students is encouraged. These symposia are not advertised; thus, students can apply only if they are nominated by a faculty advisor. Nomination Deadline: Nominations must be received by October 31, 2016
Invitations to Apply: Sent to students in early November
Application Deadline: Completed applications must be received by noon on November 28, 2016
Selection Notification: Sent to students in January 2017
