ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
This symposium recognizes the work of this summer's MRCI mini-grant recipients.

This June, 55 UCSB graduate students received summer mini-grants through the Multidisciplinary Research on COVID-19 and its Impacts (MRCI) program. The students conducted research on a broad array of topics related to COVID-19 and its implications. The students also discussed their research with each other in topical breakout groups, providing an opportunity for multidisciplinary learning.

For the MRCI Collaborative Symposium, these topical groups will share on their related research projects and their experiences.

Funding for the program was provided by the Graduate Division with contributions from the Office of Research; the College of Engineering; the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management; the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education; and the Divisions of Social Sciences, Humanities and Fine Arts, and Mathematical, Life and Physical Sciences.
