Instructional Development (ID) and the Graduate Student Resource Center (GSRC) invite you to a workshop for navigating the challenges of TA'ing in the USA, led by Dr. Mindy Colin.

As an International Teaching Assistant (ITA), you may sometimes find yourself far outside your comfort zone when teaching or dealing with students. Whether you are anxious about presenting material in English or wondering how (and why) to get students to participate, one of the most important steps you can take is recognizing how your perceptions about schooling, teaching, and relationships with students affect your ideals about being a TA. In this workshop, Dr. Mindy Colin (Instructional Development) will help you determine your identity as a teacher.

Pizza will be provided! RSVP to reserve your spot!
