The start of Spring quarter is the perfect opportunity to make a fresh start in your teaching. Are you hoping to encourage more participation or to increase student engagement this quarter? The first day of section can help you set the tone for the classroom culture that you want to develop this spring. In this workshop, we will discuss approaches and activities for the first day of section that will get students thinking, talking, and participating from Day 1.
