Communication is essential to everything we do as scholars, and it is especially important when interacting with other people - whether it be colleagues, your advisor, or a potential employer. In this workshop facilitated by Bri McWhorter from Activate to Captivate, you'll experience how to be hyperaware of what is going on around you while still being relaxed enough to receive new information. Using acting exercises, you will learn how to be in the moment for effective communication and you'll leave knowing to how to deeply listen and connect to those around you.
