Career & Tools

There are a lot of wonderful resources out there that provide guidance on how to do well on the GRFP application, but ultimately your success will be determined by an evaluator. Wouldn’t it be helpful if you could talk to one of these mysterious figures to learn how the application is reviewed and what evaluators seek in a strong application? Join us on October 8 and you can do just that!

There are a lot of wonderful resources out there that provide guidance on how to do well on the GRFP application, but ultimately your success will be determined by an evaluator. Wouldn't it be helpful if you could talk to one of these mysterious figures to learn how the application is reviewed and what evaluators seek in a strong application? We are here to provide just that!

In this NSF GRFP Success Series Q&A panel, we have assembled various faculty persons who review materials for the NSF. They can speak from firsthand experience on what the NSF wants in your application. Besides being able to address common pitfalls (so that you know how to avoid them!), you can also bring your own questions to this session and get specific guidance on any component of the application. This is a rare opportunity to gain insight from the other side of the process, so don't miss out!

When: Monday, October 8th, 2:30-4 pm
Where: Materials Research Lab 2053 (MRL 2053)
RSVP here but drop-ins are welcome!
