On Tuesday, November 28, Academic Advisors from the Graduate Division will be available to meet with students individually to conduct formatting pre-checks and answer questions about the process of filing a master’s thesis, doctoral dissertation, or DMA supporting document.

Prior to attending the session, you are required to:

  1. Watch the Thesis & Dissertation/DMA Supporting Document Filing Online Tutorial (Video)
  2. Review the Step by Step tutorial (PowerPoint or PDF)
  3. Review the Graduate Division’s website on Filing Your Thesis, Dissertation, or DMA Supporting Document
  4. For a pre-check of your document, you must bring printed copies of preliminary pages and at least one chapter (along with any other pages you want checked) for an Advisor to review.

Ryan Sims, the Graduate Division Academic Counselor will be hosting a resources table that includes information about how he supports our graduate students, interdisciplinary emphases, career guides, and other campus resources.

Even if you can’t attend the session, we encourage you to review the above resources, contact an Academic Services staff member if you have questions, or drop in to the Graduate Division for a pre-check during business hours.
