The IPS Program is still accepting applications for new grant awards and welcomes students to apply for opportunities that are facilitated virtually, such as online trainings and certification programs. We encourage potential applicants to explore the various free online training resources available to them through the university first (such as LinkedIn Learning for all UC employees) before applying for IPS. All applications for virtual opportunities will be reviewed by the same selection criteria as other applications.

For Prospective Applicants

If you are interested in applying for an IPS grant, please note the following:

  • Due to university travel restrictions surrounding COVID-19, no awards will be made for in-person opportunities taking place before the end of spring quarter. If you would like to apply for an in-person opportunity that is scheduled to take place after spring quarter, it will be reviewed according to the program selection criteria and, if appropriate, awarded on a provisional basis contingent upon the lifting of travel restrictions for university-related business.
