Professional Identity Resources for Graduate Students

UC Santa Barbara graduate students have access to a number of services, resources, and templates to help build their professional identity.

Letterhead

Pick from three different types of University letterhead to suite your style and preferences. Please keep in mind that the University of California Santa Barbara seal is typically reserved for official communications from the Chancellor’s office, legal documents, financial documents, awards, and other formal university communications.

PowerPoint Slides

Microsoft PowerPoint templates are available in a standard (4:3) print-friendly format, as well as a widescreen (16:9) format that's great for screen-only presentations. The type is pre-set to Century Gothic, campus colors are built into the theme, and there are various slide layout options to choose from.

Business Cards

Business card templates are available via MOO, a leading provider of quality business stationery. A number of layouts are available to meet a range of information needs, and cards are available in a variety of UC Santa Barbara colors for added impact. Please note that in order to place an order through MOO, graduate students must arrange to come by the Graduate Student Resource Center to use secure login credentials and are responsible for paying for business cards orders. To schedule a time to place your order, please email gsrc@graddiv.ucsb.edu. Websites

Although graduate students do not yet have access to pre-made website templates, you can use the resources on the Brand website (including web fonts and branded colors)  to customize a theme on your favorite web-hosting platform.

Email for Life

Every graduate student receives an @ucsb email address upon entry into their program, which will remain available beyond your time of affiliation with UCSB as long as you continue to use it. You can also create branded email signatures using this generator tool.

High-Quality Digital Images

The UC Santa Barbara Digital Asset Library is curated by the Office of Public Affairs & Communications, and assets are free of charge for staff & faculty members.
