The Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies is currently accepting applications for teaching assistants for first-year German language courses for the academic year 2019-2020. Primary duties will include teaching, grading of homework and assignments, and enrollment in a German 500 methodology practicum. UC Santa Barbara's Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies is currently accepting applications for teaching assistants for first-year German language courses for the academic year 2019-2020. Primary duties will include teaching, grading of homework and assignments, and enrollment in a German 500 methodology practicum. Teaching assistants are also required to hold a minimum of two weekly office hours.

Class level in Fall 2019: Beginning German (First year, German 1).

Minimum Qualifications: Native or near-native proficiency in German.

Desirable Qualifications: Some teaching experience.
