The Graduate Student Internship Fellowship is now accepting applications!

The Fellowship awards up to five $2,000-$2,500 scholarships annually to help graduate students explore career opportunities and gain valuable work experience while in graduate school. Graduate students from all disciplines are eligible to apply, and funds will be awarded to students who demonstrate financial need as well as how their Summer or Fall 2019 work experience will be beneficial for their career trajectory.

Click HERE or on the flyer below to start your application.

You do not need to have a confirmed internship before applying, although you must have an idea of what you want to do for your internship, where you want to apply, and how the proposed experience will add to your career trajectory. You are encouraged to create opportunities for yourself along with applying to internships. Check out Handshake to get started and meet with a career counselor if you need help finding an internship.

As part of the application, you will be asked to submit two short statements: one that demonstrates how this internship experience will provide you with skills that will help in your larger career goals, and another that shows your need for financial assistance and how this fellowship would facilitate your ability to complete the summer or fall internship experience.

For more information on the Graduate Student Internship Fellowship application and eligibility requirements, check out the Grad Student Internship Fellowship webpage. To learn more about the fellowship, come to an information session on January 31st at 4:30pm in the San Clemente Center.
