The UCSB Office of Instructional Consultation seeks to hire a Graduate ​Assistant who is responsible for revising and developing survey items for ESCI course evaluations.

Major Responsibilities:

I) Rewording existing survey items
II) Categorizing items
III) Anchoring and weighting Likert scales
IV) Drafting both open-ended and scalar questions to be included in the pool of available survey questions

Required Skills:

  • Basic Excel
  • Excellent grammar and spelling
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a variety of team members
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in survey question design is preferred.
