Are you a graduate student or postdoc interested in science communication and outreach? Do you have an interest in helping junior high students and families gain familiarity with science and its importance in education? Would you like an easy way to get involved and give back to the local community?

The Family Ultimate Science Exploration (FUSE) is hosting five events at local high schools starting October 12. Join them in teaching students how to build simple electromagnetic motors, squeeze polymers, and iPhone peppergram projectors.

If you are interested in volunteering for FUSE this fall quarter, they are hosting a training session on Thursday, October 5, from 6-8 p.m. in 1601 Elings Hall. Pizza provided. RSVP here.

Please contact Wendy Ibsen, wendyibsen@ucsb.edu, with questions about FUSE.
