Collaborate at UCSB is looking to hire tech-savvy and service-oriented graduate students to serve as Instructional Design Assistants to start in Fall 2017. These positions provide specialized consultation to faculty in specific areas, including drop-in support for GauchoSpace and other instructional technology tools and software, as well as researching and answering help requests and working on ongoing documentation or research projects.

There are currently openings for the 25%-time position, which involves on-campus faculty support in the Collaborate Faculty Resource Center (Kerr Hall, Room 1110) for 6 hours a week, usually performed as one weekly 10 a.m.-4 p.m. shift. Additional unscheduled hours are reserved for doing research, documentation projects, scheduled training sessions, as well as for meetings and out-of-the office communication, and occasional additional office hours as needed or requested.
