Do you share your research on popular networks such as Academia.edu or ResearchGate? Then you won't want to miss Janneke Adema's talk next week hosted by the UCSB Library. She is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Disruptive Media at Coventry University (UK) who will speak about the problems posed by the trend towards metricization and self-branding through for-profit academic networks.
