Credit: American Historical AssociationThe American Historical Association is announcing a new grant-funded position to coordinate its Career Diversity for Historians initiative. The position will be funded for three years in Washington, D.C.

The Coordinator will assist the Manager of Academic Affairs in organizing the next stage of the initiative, including a series of faculty institutes, an institutional grants program, and events at the annual meeting. The Coordinator will also administer AHA Career Contacts and assist the Manager of Academic Affairs in designing the expansion and evolution of Career Diversity for Historians overall. The Coordinator will assist the Manager of Academic Affairs in creating and disseminating resources and publications produced by the initiative.
