Calling all Ph.D.s and postdocs in the biological sciences. Do you have an interesting research story? Do you want to get your research broadcasted to the world? Apply to the Young Scientist Seminars (YSS) competition ​to win money, invaluable communication training, and the chance of a lifetime!

Winners will be trained by the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at an all-expense-paid, multi-day workshop in San Fransisco and then record their 30-minute presentation in a green screen studio. All talks will be broadcasted by iBiology and viewed by an international audience of students, scientists, educators, and the public. Winners will also receive a $500 honorarium.
