 Interdisciplinary Research CollaboratoryThe UCSB Library's newly opened Interdisciplinary Research Collaboratory is looking to hire three new assistants who can begin work at the start of the fall quarter.

The Interdisciplinary Research Collaboratory provides access to the Library's growing collection of data sets, resources, and high-end workstations with analytical software such as ArcGIS, SAS, SPSS, Stata, R, and Python.

The Collaboratory staff offer consultations on research involving data, including finding and recommending data sources and advising on technical data issues such as file format conversion and basic software use. They are seeking students that can help ​their users and provide assistance particularly in the use of the tools they support.

The starting pay for this position is $11.50/hour. For more information, see the online application.
