The Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity (RCSGD) is excited to announce the first ever LGBTQ Student Research Showcase, which will take place on June 5. This showcase seeks to highlight research being conducted by LGBTQ and similarly identified graduate and undergraduate students, including any research related to gender and sexuality. This showcase will feature presenters from departments across campus, including the social sciences, humanities, STEM, and fine arts. As well, they are committed to showcasing a range of different types of knowledge production, including traditional theoretical and empirical work, as well as activist and artistic projects.

Presentations are between 10-15 minutes. They invite presentation proposals from undergraduate and graduate students. Proposals are due April 15 and can be submitted at http://tinyurl.com/ucsbLGBTQresearch. Presenters will be notified by April 29.

If you have any questions, or would like to be involved in the organizing of this event, please contact RCSGD graduate assistant Alex Kulick.
