UCSB is launching their brand new AI Community of Practice (CoP) on January 26th! Come learn about how you can be a part of the kickoff and explore way AI can best serve our campus community.
Join us for the launch of UC Santa Barbara’s new AI Community of Practice (CoP) on Friday, January 26th, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM!
This virtual event is an opportunity for Faculty, Undergraduate/Graduate Students, Staff, Researchers, and AI practitioners across campus to come together to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can serve our campus community.
The AI Kickoff will include:
- Innovation Showcase: Lightning talks about innovative AI applications at UCSB to inspire creative thinking
- Interest Group Discussions: Participate in breakout group discussions around areas of AI innovation that interest you
- Group Visioning: A whole group discussion of how we can structure our CoP to harness AI while safeguarding intellectual property and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
